Hi  I’m Lily, founder of Manor Cottage Beauty and Wellness, and a proud mum to three beautiful children.. Kai, Eli and Mia. And Fiancé to my wonderful partner Ross.

With over 13 years in the beauty industry, my journey has taken me through a variety of roles, from mobile beauty services, to gaining experience in a fast paced top London salon, and ultimately finding my passion within the spa environment at Forest Pines Spa in North Lincolnshire.

It was there that I truly discovered the atmosphere I loved most.. a calm, restorative, and deeply nurturing experience. Not just for clients, but for myself as a therapist too.

I first joined Forest Pines just before my eldest, Kai, was born. Over the years, between maternity leaves, raising my children, and continuing mobile work.. I always found myself drawn back to the spa. It felt like home. Before welcoming my youngest, Mia, I was incredibly proud to have achieved the highest ELEMIS retail sales across all North Lincolnshire spas, as well as becoming a finalist for Spa Team Member of the Year across 21 Q Hotels. This led to my role as an ELEMIS ambassador and educator, travelling the country to train spa therapists and deliver certifications.

I also had the privilege of visiting the ELEMIS Academy of Excellence in Farringdon, London.

I then became a senior therapist, where I was able to mentor others, plan events, and help shape the spa experience, something I absolutely loved. I left on a high to go on maternity leave with Mia, always intending to return. But after she arrived, I remembered just how quickly those early years pass, and I wanted to be present for every moment.

With the encouragement from my fiancé, instead of returning to the Spa, I made the decision to create something of my own. A space that brought together everything I love about the spa experience, but with the flexibility to be there for my family.

And so, Manor Cottage Beauty and Wellness was born in November 2025!

Creating the right environment and choosing the perfect skincare brand was so important to me. While my background has always been with ELEMIS, unfortunately with the companies restrictions and targets, it wasn’t possible in my small treatment room.

So, I discovered Botanicals! I instantly fell in love. Their products are organic, locally and ethically sourced, vegan, nut-free, and safe for pregnancy, allowing me to offer truly bespoke treatments without compromise.

Knowing the products are made so close to home in Lincolnshire made it feel even more special .. it just felt meant to be.

Never thought I would say it, but I have definitely converted from ELEMIS! And it’s a bonus that the products are a lot more affordable too.

Alongside my usual beauty and spa treatments, I’ve continued to expand my skills, now offering lash lifts and brow lamination! I’ve quickly fallen in love with these treatments and the transformations they create.

Since opening, I can honestly say this has been the best decision I’ve ever made. I currently work three days a week during school hours, plus one evening a week, and sometimes a few hours on a Saturday, if it fits in with my family life

 I structure everything around my children, which was always my biggest goal. Being able to attend school events, sports events, and spend precious weekends together means everything to me.

Although my business is based at home, I want everyone to rest assured that I’ve created a peaceful, private sanctuary where you can truly switch off. During your treatment time, the space is entirely yours (and as much as I love them, the children and fiancé aren’t here during treatment times) the space is calm, quiet, and designed to feel just like a spa.

I’m so grateful for the support I’ve received since opening .. I never expected to be so busy so quickly. My current wait time is around two weeks, so I always recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment.

From September, I’ll be extending my working week to four days to offer even greater availability.
